Pavement Markings
Stripes alone don't tell the whole story — pavement markings do. Arrows, stop bars, crosswalks, numbered stalls, fire lane legends, and safety messages are what actually direct traffic and keep people where they're supposed to be. Trinity Striping installs crisp, code-compliant pavement markings for parking lots, roadways, and private properties throughout South Florida, using both painted stencils and preformed thermoplastic where durability matters most.
What We Do
What's Included
Every pavement markingsproject from Trinity Striping covers the full scope so you don't have to coordinate a second vendor. Typical work on a job looks like this:
- Directional arrows (straight, turn, combination)
- Stop bars, yield triangles, and stop legends
- Crosswalks (standard, ladder, continental)
- Fire lane and no-parking legends
- Numbered and reserved stall markings
- Speed limit and school zone legends
- Custom stencils, logos, and branding
- EV charging, carpool, and rideshare markings
- Preformed thermoplastic pavement markings
Our Process
How a Project Gets Done
Every job follows the same proven steps, so the result is consistent whether it's a small driveway or a multi-acre commercial lot.
- Step 01
Scope & Stencil Selection
We review what markings are needed — code-driven (fire lanes, ADA), directional (arrows, stop bars), or custom (logos, stall numbers) — and pick the right stencils and materials.
- Step 02
Surface Prep
The target area is blown clean of sand, dust, and debris. Old markings may be ground down if they'd show through the new work.
- Step 03
Layout & Alignment
We measure and mark stencil positions so every arrow and legend lines up correctly with traffic flow and parking geometry.
- Step 04
Application
Stencils are painted with water-based traffic paint, or preformed thermoplastic is heat-bonded to the asphalt for high-traffic durability.
- Step 05
Inspection
We verify alignment, color, and coverage before leaving the site so the markings are doing exactly what they're meant to do.
Why It Matters
The Case for Pavement Markings
Clear Direction
Arrows and legends tell drivers exactly where to go, reducing confusion, backups, and wrong-way traffic.
Code & Fire-Marshal Compliance
Fire lanes, stop bars, and ADA-required markings keep your property in line with local fire and life-safety codes.
Durable Materials
Preformed thermoplastic resists fading, tire scuff, and pressure washing far better than paint alone.
Custom Branding
Custom stencils let you put a logo, monogram, or reserved message exactly where you want it.

Frequently Asked
Pavement Markings FAQ
What's preformed thermoplastic?
Preformed thermoplastic is a pre-cut pavement marking (arrow, legend, logo) made from solid thermoplastic material. It's laid on the pavement and heated with a propane torch until it bonds to the asphalt. It's extremely durable and lasts many times longer than painted stencils.
Do you do custom stencils and logos?
Yes. Send us the design and we'll cut a custom stencil and paint or heat-apply it. Stall numbers, company logos, reserved messages, and EV branding are all common requests.
What markings does the fire marshal require?
Most Florida jurisdictions require clearly painted fire lane striping (usually red with white lettering), 'NO PARKING FIRE LANE' legends at set intervals, and stop bars at required exits. We'll match whatever your local fire code calls for.
Can you re-do faded stencils without repainting the whole lot?
Yes. Markings fade faster than stripes because they take more tire traffic. We can refresh just the arrows, stop bars, and legends without redoing stall lines.
How long do painted markings last vs thermoplastic?
Painted stencils typically last 1 to 2 years depending on traffic. Preformed thermoplastic typically lasts 3 to 7 years on the same surface.
