Trinity Striping

Service

Roadway & Highway Striping

When a roadway's lines fade, drivers lose the cues that keep traffic moving safely. Trinity Striping handles roadway and highway striping for municipalities, counties, HOAs, and private communities across South Florida — using reflective, DOT-spec materials engineered for heavy traffic, heat, and rain. From a quiet subdivision entrance to a multi-lane arterial, we deliver straight, bright, long-lasting lines that perform day and night.

What We Do

What's Included

Every roadway & highway stripingproject from Trinity Striping covers the full scope so you don't have to coordinate a second vendor. Typical work on a job looks like this:

  • Double and single yellow center lines
  • White edge lines and lane lines
  • Thermoplastic hot-applied striping
  • Water-based traffic paint striping
  • Skip lines and lane change markings
  • Crosswalks, stop bars, and transverse markings
  • Turn lane arrows and lane-use legends
  • Raised pavement markers (RPMs) and reflectors
  • Temporary striping for work zones

Our Process

How a Project Gets Done

Every job follows the same proven steps, so the result is consistent whether it's a small driveway or a multi-acre commercial lot.

  1. Step 01

    Spec & Material Review

We confirm the required striping pattern, material (paint or thermoplastic), color, width, and reflectivity to match DOT, county, or community standards.

  2. Step 02

    Traffic Control & Safety Setup

Our crew sets up cones, signs, and flaggers as needed to protect drivers and workers, coordinating with local authorities when required.

  3. Step 03

    Surface Preparation

The roadway is cleaned of debris, dust, and any loose material. Old markings may be ground out or blacked out where required.

  4. Step 04

    Line Application

Lines are applied with ride-on striping equipment and glass beads are immediately dropped onto hot lines for nighttime reflectivity.

  5. Step 05

    Cure & Reopen

Paint cures in minutes; thermoplastic sets within a few minutes of application. We break down traffic control and reopen the road with minimal disruption.

Why It Matters

The Case for Roadway & Highway Striping

Driver Safety

Bright, reflective lines give drivers the cues they need to stay in lane, reducing crashes and near-misses day and night.

Built for Traffic Volume

Thermoplastic striping withstands thousands of tire passes and resists fading far longer than conventional paint.

Spec-Compliant

We stripe to FDOT and municipal standards, so inspections and acceptance pass the first time.

Night-Visible Reflectivity

Every line is beaded or made with reflective materials for high nighttime and wet-weather visibility.

Frequently Asked

Roadway & Highway Striping FAQ

What's the difference between traffic paint and thermoplastic?

Traffic paint is a water-based coating applied cold — it's affordable, dries fast, and typically lasts 1 to 2 years. Thermoplastic is a plastic resin heated to around 400°F and extruded onto the road. It bonds chemically to the asphalt, is far more durable, and typically lasts 3 to 7 years, making it the standard for high-traffic roads.

Do you work with FDOT specs?

Yes. We stripe to FDOT, county, and local standards — including material, width, color, reflectivity, and pattern — so your project passes inspection.

Can you handle night work or work zones?

Yes. We routinely work overnight on roadways that can't be shut down during business hours, with full traffic control setup and trained flaggers.

How reflective are the lines?

Glass beads are dropped into the wet line so they embed at the correct depth for retro-reflectivity. That's what bounces a vehicle's headlights back into the driver's eyes at night.

Can you restripe a private community or neighborhood?

Absolutely. HOAs and property managers hire us to refresh faded road markings at community entrances, stop bars, and speed limit legends without dealing with a government contractor.
